A quick, simple no-bake recipe that makes little energry-filled tasty oat balls! Great for snacking on or as part of a good breakfast.
Ingredients
(To make 24 Balls)
2 Overripe Bananas (mashed)
130g Peanut Butter
150g of rolled oats
50g of grated dark chocolate
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
Method
First, mash your bananas. The riper they are the easier it will be! In a separate bowl, take your oats and add grated dark chocolate (or other chocolate if you prefer, or no chocolate if you prefer!) Add a teaspoon of ground ginger and give it a little mix. Next, add your peanut butter of choice. I like Lidl’s one they do in the big bucket, same as Aldi, as it is all-natural, good value and will bind the ingredients well for this recipe. Mix until the mixture all comes together so you can form little balls. The easiest way to do this is to use a tablespoon scoop, but otherwise, form balls with your hands. Then all you have to do is put them into the fridge and they will be ready to enjoy when you are!
