It is that time of the year again (well it doesn’t happen every year but its pretty regular these days) when I venture out to a MaccyD’s because they are bribing us with free Pokemon cards. Well, kind of free as you have to purchase a ‘kids’ Happy Meal.
Before we go on, I just want to make clear as a 34-year-old male I am against scalpers buying these up and preventing kids and adult Poke-fans from being able to buy the promotional item themselves. Sure, buy some to resell but don’t take the piss. Let people enjoy for enjoyment’s sake too.

Europe McDonald’s should already have the promotion but the UK date looks set to be the 23rd of August.
The collection will include 15 cards, containing Pokemon from the Scarlett and Violet regions. This will also include an edition of Pikachu, as by this time this is the law.
